Lately it feels like everything is spiraling out of control. In the face of rising costs for food, healthcare, childcare, and education, and as we see the basic principles of our democracy being disregarded, we feel powerless.
But there’s one place where we still have the power: The voting booth. That's where we have the power to make a change and send a message. That is why I’m running for the State Senate.
While taking on an entrenched incumbent is a daunting task, it’s important. It's important to send the message that we don't want to have one of the least transparent, least accountable Legislatures in the country. It's important to send the message that we need more local aid to help our struggling towns. It's important to send the message that we don't want to have one of the widest gaps between the wealthy and those struggling in the country. It’s important to stand up for our democracy.
